Hello.
I saw the post about waiting 6 months for Windows 8 and upgrading.
Would you or anyone happen to know where I might find old versions of
windows 7 from a relyable source? That has been my worry the last 2 or 3
months is that I do not want to plunge right into Windows 8 from XP.
Yes, I am still running XP because I like it but I know XP will not be
supported in 2 years.
I don't much want to use ebay to buy windows 7 but wondered just by chance
if you or anyone else would know of some online computer stores that may
have some windows 7 disks in stock for at least a few weeks any way.
I have used Windows 7 with Window Eyes in the workplace and just would
rather stick with that for now.

Don,
I personally would wait at least six months before upgrading. This is
what
I call the Microsoft rule. Anything Microsoft will have bugs in it and it
takes about six months to get them out.
This is my husband's rule and it's a good one.

Looking for personal opinions of those who have been running Windows 8.
Is it worth upgrading to Windows 8 from Windows 7? Any input would be
appreciated.
