It could probably but why would you want it to. If you press e to go to an edit box lets say your trying to log on a site that has 3 edit boxes the first one is search. Well if we did what you wanted brows mode would turn it self off on the search edit box. This edit box is not what you want. You want the e-mail edit box. So you now have to press escape press e again to get to the edit box you want. Verces pressing e twice get to the box you want and then turning off brows mode buy pressing enter. See works a lot faster. Of course you could use the normal window-eyes layout and use control search mode. Note this feature is called the insert key layout not the jfw layout. Hth
