Shannon,

I think you are making this more complicated than it is.

If you set the option to be program specific and save the set, Window-Eyes will automatically associate the set to the underlying application. You don't have to be bothered with what to call it or how to associate it, etc. Just go to the app, go to the setting, set it to program specific, set it to what you want and hit the save button. The setting will be associated to the application.

Good afternoon,
After I have installed the beta I have to add my 2 cents to the discussion on the new way of handling the way links are identified as described here from the READ-ME * The option to speak the word "link" before or after one is encountered has been removed. Instead, this control type is now voiced based on the " verbosity option (as are all other controls).
I can say with out any doubt that I can't stand this new change.
Now to hear Link before the link I need to set this setting to before.
The draw back is I don't want to hear Button before and I don't want to hear Edit box before either. I have tried to set this particular behavior off to the program I deal with this the most in the accounting program to be program specific and then saved the settings. The bad part is that what is loaded is the WE default set and It will not ask me to name the program I want this set for. It just says WE default no associated file and says settings saved. It does not allow or ask me to associate anything.
So I don't know how to make this stick to the set file I want.
How do you do this in WE8.0. I can't make this change stick.
I did use the update out dated set files after I noticed that I only had one set file listed. What do I have to do to allow this change to be set differently for IE8 and my accounting program. I just can't stand the button yes y button no n and the like. It is annoying and distracting to me.
