Hi: I had a discussion this morning with a sighted friend and we talked about windows 8 and tiles and touch screen.
Questions came up that I could not answer being a tottallly blind individual. For example are all home computers touch screen and will they still work with a keyboard and mouse? If your sighted or blind and it is a touch screen, why do you need a mouse or keyboard? If you don't need a keyboard and or a mouse, then how to you type a word document by reaching in front of you and tappings letters on the screen ? So, lastly, are home computers now just a touch screen and are they vertical or flat in front of you on the desk? This all came about because of windows 8 and tiles on the screen. Flat screen or vertical or is the screen or moniter on a 45 degree slant. Thanks and sorry for the ramble, I am just seeking clarification.
