I thought that might have been the case, but I tried that and it didn't seem to matter. The first issue doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen enough where I noticed. The second issue seems to happen on webpages that have a lot of text and forms like a blog or Wikipedia. I'll alt tab away from the page let's say to notepad to jot down something I just read, alt tab back and I'll be at a completely different part of the webpage. all non IE toolbars are uncheck by the way.
