Hello, you are incorrect system access and nonvisual desktop access both have a browse mode. Job Access With Speech also has one. They are called different things, but they perform the same function. Programs such as Firefox and Internet Explorer do not have a cursor while reviewing webpages. They also do not have extended navigation keys for browsing by element. This means that the screen reader must create a buffer that allows you to navigate a webpage, just as you would any other document. Such a buffer also needs to be able to allow the user to find specific text and it also must include extended navigation for elements without such a buffer all that would be possible is page by page navigation and navigation within the tab order. This was the type of access that we had with Windows 3.1 and Netscape. I do not think if anyone remembers that access anyone wants to go back to it. I hope this answers your question.

Nvda doesn't have one, system access doesn't have one. I found it confusing, and annoying during the time i had window eyes. I also found the menus, and setting in window eyes to be very confusing. I would like to suggest that in future releases of window eyes, that simplicity of use, and ease of menu navigation needs urgently to be considered especially for novices like me. Someone needs to go in to the forest with their Stihl chain saw, and cut down all those trees. Tree menus are horrible, and it might be a good idea to abolish them. Thanks.
