Robert,

I suggest you upgrade your FF to the current 16.01 version as we do zero testing on FF 3.x.

As for the open office, this is the frustration of Java. You'll find the other screen readers have this exact same problem. We are trying to figure out what all it takes to make open office happy...on my system it is working fine...but I know others are having problems.

Regarding the control type, we will be bringing back the verbosity to single out "link" from other controls types for the final 8.0 based on feedback we've been hearing.

I installed the new wineyes beta, and then
jre-6u37-windows-i586.exe
and
LibO_3.6.2_Win_x86_install_multi.msi with accessibility components.
Then I installed the JAB.
I was able to read the menus in libreoffice but absolutely nothing was voiced using the arrows in the Libreoffice Writer. Backspace does not read anything while composing this email message. Works fine elsewhere. Also tabbing to controls in firefox 3.6 doesn't turn browse mode off either. The new habbit of saying control type before data gets irritating at times but I can get used to it.
Haven't tested out the safe mode feature yet. Will probably do that later.
