Well I just installed the beta and so far I am liking its responsiveness a lot. I think it may be a little nicer than 7.5 was with IE 8, but don't notice a lot of differences yet other than how the focus and forms mode behaves and the better responsiveness. I like that when you turn off forms mode it leaves you in the same spot and I'm not sure it always did before. I am wondering, but thinking I might not gain more access to much with IE 8 than I had before though as I am thinking from what they have said that possibly IE 8 just doesn't have the underlying ability to communicate the increased level of information to WE?? I am just kind of assuming this right now. Does anyone know if I really would do a lot better to upgrade to IE 9 in gaining the ability to get at information I would not get with IE 8? I have so far stayed away from IE 9 as I concluded it was more trouble than it was worth prior to WE 8 beta though. Interestingly I have two windows 7 updates that will not install and I have a theory they may require IE 9 and that is why they will not install. I don't know if that is true. When they are checked and I install updates, after the reboot it thinks for a while and then reboots on its own and resets back to the recovery point it set. When I again find these two offending updates and uncheck them, the other updates install. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
