If you're using a Flash blocker, then it stands to reason that you won't have crashes in Flash, no? <grin> But, I agree that using a Flash blocker is a good idea, unless you find yourself needing access to Flash content.
But, as mentioned, this is a Firefox problem that both Adobe and Mozilla have confirmed. Refer to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=781971 for more information. Window-Eyes is making a perfectly valid call to Firefox that they're not handling. The same problem can be duplicated using Microsoft MSAA utilities, without Window-Eyes running.
The fact that it does not occur with other screen readers doesn't really tell anyone anything, because they all do things differently.
