Hi Doug
I turned off all appps. This fixed moving the highlight up and down
in Eudora mailboxes. There was no change in moving up and down in the
recent documents list in word.
If I hold down the up or down arrow key in the Word recent documents
list, the highlight moves one item and stops and won't move until I
release the key and wait for a while before pressing the up or down
again.. If I turn off WE the highlight keeps moving as long as I hold
down the up or down arrow.
I've also just noticed the same behavior arrowing through the items
in the ribbon in Word.
Thanks

James,
I'm able to arrow down my recent documents list very quickly. I'm
also using Office 2010, Windows 7 64-bit and WE 8 beta 1. What if
you disable all your apps, perhaps you have an app installed that is
causing this problem.

Hi
Moving up or down rapidly using the cursor keys in some menus/lists
does not work correctly. Holding down a cursor key to move rapidly
through the list results in very slow or hardly any movement. I
have found this in the Recent Documents Lists on the File menu and
Advanced Options menu in Word and Excel and in the lists of
messages in Eudora mailboxes. (I know Eudora is too old to worry
about., but it still works.
WE 8 Beta, Office 2010, Windows 7 64 bit.
