Hi. I am stuck trying to install Window-eyes 8.0 beta 1 for Windows 8. . My sighted friend downloaded Window-eyes 8.0 beta 1 for Windows 8, and I had her go ahead and leave because I thought I could complete the installation on my own. Wrong! I seem to be stuck at the Window-eyes 8.0 setup. If I press keys on the numbpad I hear numbers, plus, and dash. If I press alt-y I hear a loud chiming sound.
In other words, I hope someone can tell me how to finish the installation of Window-eyes, or for that matter, at least how to start over with the setup so I can finish the installation. I have Window-eyes saved in the downloads folder. No, I don't have nvda installed yet. I can only do one thing at a time, grin. Thank goodness I have my laptop running Windows 7 or I couldn't send this e-mail, grin. I hope someone can help before Gw Micro opens on Monday. I don't want to be stuck that long, grin. Thanks.
