I have found control-j for the view downloads dialog box, but I cannot find
out the progress or status of the files listed. I know many of those on
the list have completed, but can't find any report of it. Is there a
setting somewhere to clear a file from this list automatically when it
completes?
Also, if I hit Enter on a link for a download, such as from BARD, it says
the same things as I used to get about opening or saving, but it isn't in
that dialog; and I can't alt-tab to it. It seems to just continue on as if
I'd chosen Save without me doing anything. The Save As dialog gives me the
choices like I used to get in I E 7, but I still don't get any progress
indicators nor is it giving me a notification of completion, even though I
found the notification checkbox checked.
Any help to sort out my confusion would be much appreciated.
Using WE 7.5.4.1 and Windows 7 Home Premium.
