Greetings!

A Window-Eyes user here, welcoming ya to the list, and hope your experience
with WE is a smooth one!
Firstly, to answer your question about unread messages count, you can press
CTRL-Insert-S, as in status, to read the status line.
If you gotten the Insert Key Layout from the App Central web site or via
App-Get with Windows-G, you can press Insert-Page-Down, the same as in how
Jaws reads the status line.
If you decide to use the Insert Key Layout, press Ctrl-Alt-0, to toggle it
on/off.
You can find a current list of key strokes by Pressing Insert-W or Insert-J
to open the WE control pannel, press alt-a for apps menu, hit I til you hear
Insert Key Layout, then press h for help once in the the Insert Key Layout
menu.

Hope this hps, and thanks for coming aboard!

Kind Regards,
Trenton Matthews
