My feed back is that WE8beta2 is not functional on Windows 8. It becomes
corrupt very quickly after a reboot, and in my opinion, I would
recommend not upgrading to windows 8.
The difference on how WE8beta2 functions between win 8 and win7 is like
night and day.
Even after Doug's heads-up on the wrong Microsoft driver, version 1.0, I
updated to 1.1, WE8beta2 does not function well with win 8.
Even a simple task as finding a file in windows explorer is a challenge
and time consuming.
On a win 8 64 bit system, I would downgrade we8beta2 to
we8alpha1(assuming alpha is the first step).
On the other hand, I am using WE8beta2 with win 7 on a daily basis for
my work and I find it to work better than WE7.5., and it is ready for
public release.
I still at times need to write my thunderbird email with notepad;
however, WE7.5 had the same problem.
