I would have done a bit of research first. Since you say your system has an
SSD drive, there is good reasons to pay close attention. Several "repair"
programs, are known to cause trouble with SSD's. For one thing, there is a
clear warning against running disk defragmenting software, as they are known
to cause ruin to your SSD, even can totally destroy the special SSD format.
Not saying any of this will be the case with the routines you got suggested
from the other user, only telling you to do your homework first, smile. Do a
search on the net, with terms like the name of the command suggested, and
the word "SSD", and see what others have to say. Would be a bad idea, to
break a brand new SSD, just because of some silly little miss, smile. I did
that, last spring, myself.

down. go to properties then check for disk errors. this can check for bad
sectors and coss linked files.
windows has to check the drive when you reboot the computer. before
windows loads.
after this you can use the system file checker
open a command prompt from the accessories folder. open the context menu
on command prompt and use run as administrator. in the command window type
in sfc /scannow.
this will try to replace corrupted windows files it may find. it may ask
for a windows installation disk if you have one. i think even a windows 7
upgrade disk will work for a system repair.
it will take about 10 minutes to check all the system files for errors.
it wouldn't hurt to try this.

I have had 2 crash situations with Windows Explorer and Beta 2 on my
Win 7 system with a 32 bit processor and os. The first was when
trying to download updates in Internet Explorer. After hitting the
install updates button WE stopped speaking and my wife told me that
we got the message, Windows Explorer has stopped working. We got the
same message today after hitting the burn button to burn a cd. This
is not good.
