Here are my notes about the Lenovo I bought. Seems the model is the one
piece of
info I don't have, but maybe the notes below will prove helpful. This
laptop gave
me all foreign characters instead of anything expected on the numbers
and symbols
row above qwerty. The only way to type a numbers was to turn numlock
on, type the
number, and change numlock back. Tech support was absolutely no help on
anything.
Also look for the special Lenovo window that is always there when
closing a program
or alt-tabbing. Nobody knows what it's supposed to do, but what is does
is interfere
with just about everything. There seemed to be no way of closing or
deleteing it
either.
What I bought was a Dell Inspiron 15R. The laptop is doing fine, but my
brain is
straining to wrap it around all the changes.
