Hi folks,
I figured out what the issue is I think with my browse mode freezing
issue. I don't know why I didn't think to look at this before, but I
looked at my braille display as I was in a webpage and had just turned
browse mode back on. Well, the display showed the webpage just fine, but
I did not have any speech. I have disabled firefox's add-ons, do not
have any firefox-related aps installed for we, and am using version
17.0. I don't know enough about the bugs in ff to feel comfortable beta
testing.
Here's yet another strange thing. When I press ctrl-shift-a and turn
browse mode off, I can tab through the links and we reads them. But
consistantly when I turn it back on, I need to redraw the screen to
reinitialize speech. Or I can also press f6 to toggle me in and out of
the address bar.
And I just tried it and it does the same thing with internet explorer.
Ok, so is this my system in particular which btw is running the latest
we beta? Or are others experiencing this issue? Any info would be
greatly appreciated as this is rather tedious.
