Hello I recently got a new computer with windows7 home premium. and I
recently created my first system restore point, anyway before I did all
of this I had speech and window eyes 7.5.4.1 and after it was created
everything booted up including the sounds, but no speech. My husband is
sighted and uninstalled window eyes and the kill win eyes script was
still on my machine. I tried to reinstall window eyes version 7.5 from
the cd but it would not let me, since the cd mentioned an upgrade, but
when I did hit yes, it did not go through. Is there a work around this?
Also was wondering if the system restore point is going to be created
automatically weekly, am I going to have to reinstall window eyes every
time this happens? This sounds like a pain in the rear. The computer did
come with a recovery disk. What are recommended settings that window
eyes users should use in order to use system restore? I Am on my xp
machine so am really new at the windows7 OS. Any help would be great.
