I am a satisfied user of Microsoft Security Essentials, which works very
well with Window-Eyes. Unfortunately, MSE has just lost its
certification with AV-Test for the Windows 7 platform, the only
anti-virus/malware software tested to fail certification. The latest
Windows XP evaluation by AV-Test re-certified the software, but it was
done a few months ago. I suspect Microsoft will work hard to catch up
so that by the next AV-Test cycle, it can be certified for Windows 7.

Try Microsoft Security Essentials. Windows Seven comes with Windows
Defender, so you can also use that one. They are both accessible with
Window-Eyes and are always being updated.
I use Avast! Anti-Virus, but this program is NOT accessible with
Window-Eyes.

I think he means anti-malware LOL. Many people just don’t write it
because they just assume we’ll know what they mean.

Hi Listers,
Can anyone recommend any of the above type programs that will work
with WindowEyes?
I am running Windows7 on a 64 bit machine.
Thanks,
Ron
