I take it by your question:
> are you using the viper internet scurietysuite?

You are asking whether I am using the Vipre Internet Security Suite, then the answer is yes.

Yes, now I understand what you were referring to. Those check boxes are
certainly a problem.

Its nothing to do with the scan or how to scan, itsthe the scan option in
vipre itself.
File menu, settings.
Scan option.
There's a list of checkboxes in a table. Its not label as its label by
column.

As for the ninite issue you are having, you should put the same executable
on the same place and create a rules for it with both trusted allow and
not
trusted as well.
Your firewall mode are on simple instead of learning mode . That's why by
default, vipre itself will block it.
Vipre is intelligent, but not that intelligent as yet.

Hi Thomas,
I have been using Vipre Internet Security for some time and don't
understand what the problem yu refer to with the scanning. Just use the
view menu, Find malware and commence a scan that way.

However, I mostly do have a problem gaining access to the firewall when
using ninite. Sometimes access can be gained to allow it through and
sometimes a pair of eyes are needed. Either that or use the Windows
firewall instead for the brief time when updating with Ninite.

Apart from the firewall issue with Ninite, having no problems.

Cheers
Neville.

I've been using vipre premium which it's the protection suite and now its

There's only one problem as the other member stated in the option, the
scan
tab and its in a table.
Other than that, all its reading well.

These are those opinion of mine as I move from ESET NOD32, to Vipre now.
Vipre or GFI itself has some promo occasionally on their package which
allows you to buy lifetime which I quite like.
Their support is very good as well.

The best, download the trial and try it and drive it up the wall and see
how
much it can hold.

Subject: Compatibility of VIPRE with Window-Eyes

Greetings to the list.

The recent loss of AV-Test's certification of Microsoft Security
Essentials has made me re-think my continuing to use MSE. I was once a
big supporter of VIPRE because of its respectable track record, its ease
of use, and its compatibility with Window-Eyes. However, I note that
some users on this list have run into trouble using VIPRE with WE. Is
the software still screen reader friendly?

Thanks for all help.

Craig
