The RealPlayer installer has been anissue for a long time. I think it may offer
an option to download the installation file to your computer for installation;
however, the installation screens are still a challenge. The mouse keys are of
minimal help. I used it for years, but after version 10, the program, itself,
became progressively more difficult. When I last tried RealPlayer, I couldn’t
get the library to display properly, searching for music was problematic, etc.
Also, their web site became harder to use. On their web site, they claim to
support accessibility. Their technical support was gracious and tried to help,
but was not knowledgeable about issues we face. Finally, it seems to me that
listers and GW staff alike have found RealPlayer to be too unwhieldy and their
responses to our questions nonresponsive. Many of us have gone to Winamp,
Windows Media Player, ITunes, etc. Iwould be willing to be corrected on any of
this. I believe I remember trying NVDA, and it didn’t work, either. Wish I
could be more possitive and helpful.
