My dear fellow, I suggest that you lighten up. Nobody is going to take your browser away; nobody is infiltrating your computer. I understand your annoyance: I tend to bristle when I get that kind of message, and I have a desire to hit the people who sent them. However, I would suggest that you ignore such messages: they are nothing but rubbish. Nobody is going to take away your browser, and the world is not going to change tomorrow. If there is a sudden disaster in the browsing field, you will hear about it before it happens: that is why you belong to lists such as this one.

Well this is disturbing and really ticks me off, yet again, at google. I am seeing a message now in the HTML version of GMail while susing IE 10 on Windows 7 that I am using an old version of my browser and it will soon be unsupported. I should " upgrade to something like Chrome or Firefox". I don't know for sure what this means, if they will soon be screwing us out of the HTML view or they are discriminating against IE or what. If they are dropping the HTML, considering how the full version is a flop for accessibility, what is google's commitment to accessibility again?
