Hi, do alt-d to focus the address bar, and then tab once or twice and you will reach that area. Sometimes the choices have their own shortcuts, like alt-r for remember password, alt-n for not now, or alt-e for never ask. But the close button sometimes doesn't have that, and so alt-d, then tab a couple of times is your friend.

Hi list,

So, frustration here. You know the static text messages that come up in
firefox that say things like, do you want to remember the password for
blah, or, firefox has prevented this from redirecting, yada yada? Well,
they always have the option to close the message. Problem is, if you
don't move fast enough, the message disappears. And, if you are in a
password situation where you don't want it to remember the password, if
you're on the same domain as the one with the password, when you change
pages or refresh, firefox comes up with the remember password thing.
Now, if you jump fast enough, you can get stuck in the remember password
loop, we reads the remember password button twice and then the, close
this message.

Ok, sorry for the long explanation, but I'm wondering how I can get
focus to that item and close the message before it vanishes, only to
reappear after when switching pages? Is there a way to keep these little
boxes on the screen and press f6 to navigate to them? I've tried that,
no luck. Um, does all this make sense? or am I just talking all out my
head?
