Ted,
What happens if you expand the combo boxes with Alt-Down Arrow once you
reach them?

Dear List:
I am using windows XP and internet explorer 8.
When I go to the job board website called

I notice first, that when I move within a combo box, there is a delay =
before speaking the different entries.Second, when I go to the combo box =
called display (that shows results per page), the 20, 30 and 50 will =
speak twice, whereas the first entry 10 will speak just once. Third, if =
browse mode is on when I get to this display field and then turn browse =
mode off, the entries will speak as I move through them with the down =
arrow key, even if it says some fields twice. But, if browse mode is =
off as I am going through these fields and I come to the display combo =
box, the down arrow will move me either backward or forward away from =
the display so that I cannot read what's in the combo box. In order to =
read the combo box, I have to turn browse mode on, go to the display =
combo box and then turn browse mode off. The combo boxes that are above
the display combo box seem to work fine when browse mode is off and I am
tabbing through the fields. So, is this a website problem, =
or something to do with window-eyes. Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
