I am running WE 8 on a Win 7 64 bit machine and have WE set to load at
boot up.
Since upgrading to WE 8 I have had issues with a dialog coming up at
boot up stating that WE is already running when in fact WE is not
running at all. When the dialog box comes up I have no speech and if I
close the WE is already running dialog box I can then use control alt w
to start WE. On my second laptop with the same operating system I have
WE set to not run at start up and when I hit control alt w to start WE
WE starts talking and I also get the message that WE is already running.
I have been very careful not to hit control alt w more than one to
cause this issue.
