GWMicro's policy has been to support an operating system as long as MSFT 
does.  At this time, MSFT has promised support into the spring of 2014.
Who knows if there will be another extension or not; we'll have to wait 
for early 2014 to find out.

I've reposted my question below as this thread has wandered off from it 
and I'l like some feedback.
