Hi, Sounds like you have your preview pane set on. Every time you preview a message you will mark it as read. Turn it off in the view menu.

Hi. For the past couple of weeks Window-Eyes 8 hasn't been working correctly with Outlook 2007. The dates are being cut off, and the messages are being flagged as read even if I don't open them. I think the latter problem is Outlook's problem, and you'll see what I mean in a minute. This evening WE quit reading the list of messages, and it was combining other messages. I tried to install Outlook Enhanced, but it didn't fix the problem. I then got frustrated and switched to JAWS 14, and what do you know. All reads fine with it, and even the messages I skip over stay unread. The dates are complete, and all the information I want to know about the message is there. How can I get Window-Eyes to work again? I'm sure it's an app or set file that has rebelled, but I'm not sure how to fix it. GW Micro will be getting a call from me tomorrow.
