Yes, the punctuation thing is a problem where the synth is simply not ignoring punctuation as per the wineyes setting. This can also be seen in Outlook 2007. If you go to the end of a line and cursor right, you get the synth saying control character. GI don't know if there would be anything GW could do to stop the synth handling punctuation whether WE says so or not.
