Greetings

There was a time when JFW had quite the extensive set of commands that required
quite the array of finger gymnastics. For a while Window-Eyes was OK, however
when a new layout was introduced WE ended up being tied or running a close
second with respect to the gymnastics required to get some information. yes one
can always re-map the keys, but that has its disadvantages.

Where I feel there are challenges is when I am helping someone who is only able
to use one hand. Even when a one handed keyboard is being used, there are times
when we need to do a WE specific command that makes it very difficult. What
might help is having a dual mode for the numeric keypad. When num lock is on
then some commands can be use like insert+down arrow for read to end, insert+up
arrow to read current line, etc. Then when num lock is off the numeric keypad
can function with the WE mouse keys which has huge advantages and is very
intuitive.
