I frequently lose speech in WE 8 when clicking on a link in a WLM
message. IE 9 launches, but no speech. This sometimes happened with WE
7.5 but speech would return when IE was closed. Now it doesn't.
Interestingly, if I launch JAWS after this happens, both JAWS and WE
come up speaking simultaneously. I can then close JAWS and WE will work
until speech takes another break somewhere else along the line. Before
installing JAWS, the only way to get WE talking again was to reboot the
machine.

Regarding no speech in IE9, can you be more specific? If you can provide
step-by-step directions and we can duplicate it, that will help us to
fix it if possible.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Hello erry:

Prior to Window-Eyes 8, I've succeeded in using the screen reader pretty
well on a web portal where I enter claims for adjudication and
processing on a regular basis. Presently, on my Windows7 Professional
laptop, IE9 dies and no sound comes forth from Wndow-Eyes. I am
saddened by this development!!

As to a feature I'd like to see in Window-Eyes ... how I wish that GW
Micro will give some consideration to some of us who are self employed!!

Could GW Micro please consider scripting a professional business
accounting software that we can all use? If I could recommend, I'll
choose Sage 50 formerly Peachtree Complete Accounting as it did work
easonably well using Window-Eyes!!

For a POINT OF SALE software for those of us who acept credit cards,
swipe and return card to customer at a retail point of sale/presence,
can I humbly recommend scripting for either PC America's Cash register
Express or Keystroke POS?

I'd be glad to be a beta-tester for either one or all of these programs.
Much thanks and all the best!!

P.S.: Can't follow GW Micro on Twitter right now, my schedule DOES NOT
permit it.

Sincerely,

Olusegun
