Makes total sense. I don't even necessarily care if it's a larger fea--$100,
maybe more if it's a very specialized app. If it works it's worth it.

Hi,

Well I agree that gw micro should lead the pack here. How-ever I don't
think they need to build all the functionality in to window-eyes it self.
For example lets say you want support for dragon naturally speaking. Gw
micro could write an ap for that and then for those of us who need this
support we install the app. Gw micro could even charge a small fee for the
app. That way you only are paying for or getting the functionality that you
need. Another example lets say you are a user that needs point of cell
software. Well they write an app for what ever software that does this then
you the user buy that app. It does not hit the main user base who don't
need that functionality. Not only that but doing it in an app means that
you don't have to wait tell another version of window-eyes is releaced you
get the functionality as soon as the app is done.

That is the whole point of apps in the first place. Right now it is
looking like what people are wanting is bug fixes touch support for windows
8 more aggressive powerful keyboard handeling and lots of apps.

Hello Jim:

I personally do not mind the use of apps to enhance Window-Eyes
functionality. However, it is a bit hard to find scripters especially when
funds are airtight. And even if funds are not that tight, finding a
scripter to work with is analogous to trying to pick very tiny needles out
of a haystack. This is where I believe that GW Micro can possibly bridge
the gap by building into Window-Eyes as much functionality from the ground
up as is possible.

Sincerely,

Olusegun
