I have to believe that GW has been aware of the problem for quite some time, and, quite simply, can't fix it, or they would have by now. That the problem continues into WE 8 is no surprise.
When I wrote to jeremy in response to his request for what features we'd each like to see in the next version, I told him no more lock ups or a close and re-open WindowEyes app that works every time. He is a good salesman. He thanked me for my suggestion and promised to forward it to technical support for them to deal with. Now here's a question, and I have a suspicion the answer may be a clue to why WE locks up for so many of us. For all of you who have 2 or more lock ups per day, tell me this: Are you a very fast typist? I am a very fast typist, and I suspect what may happen is that our keyboard input exceeds the data input capacity of WE, causing it to lock up.
