Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much to everyone who replied to my message. I appreciate all the suggestions.

Well, it appears that the problem is not CDBurnerXP. It is Windows.

The DLL that I was missing was the msvcp71.dll.

Someone gave it to me yesterday, however I'm still having problems, and since it is not a Window-Eyes issue, I will try not to post messages about this issue. <smile>

Thanks much.

Did you try to uninstall it, and then run the ninite to reinstall the software. Simply just trying to update it, by running ninite, may not do the trick. The ninite system will check your computer, realize that the software is already installed, check its database, and realize there is no newer versions - hence skip the whole thing. Uninstalling the software, the ninite system will think you need a clean install, and go ahead and perform the full installation for y - including the dll file.

Subject: CD Burner XP and a Missing DLL file

Hi Everyone,

I was going to burn some CD's today, but I can't do this with CD Burner XP. I've used this program a whole lot until lately. It says there is a missing dll file. The dll file is:

mscp71.dll.

Does anyone know where I can get the executable to install the CD Burner XP program? I originally installed it from a Ninite installer. I did update the program today, with the Ninite installer, but I still get the same error message.

Any help is so very much appreciated, please.

Thanks so much.
