Patricia, The feature you want to adjust is the format alert which you can either set by opening the WE control panel and going to Screen/Other, or by pressing Insert-5. You can set whether Window-Eyes announces presses of the Enter key by going to Keyboard/Special Keys in the control panel and turning on the "speak enter" setting.
