Mike,

How accessible you find Microsoft Access depends upon what you will need to do 
with it.  If you install the Microsoft Access app, it 
works pretty well.  Having said that, though, Microsoft Access is itself 
complex and some of the navigation is different.  There are 
parts of access that do not work as well as others, but I think the biggest 
issue that one faces is just learning what one needs to 
about Microsoft Access itself.  It must be more intuitive visually than it is 
with a screen reader.  <smile>  You will also find it 
worthwhile to learn about keyboard shortcuts that can be used.  Besides being 
useful, reading through them can sometimes reveal how 
to do something that might not be obvious by exploring menus or the ribbon.
