Hi Jim
Sorry, I'm confused. Do you want to know how to get the Qube or are
you having installation problems, your message seems to suggest both.
To download the Qube go here
http://www.quartzprojects.co.uk/
The latest version is 1.0 beta4.3 or four, I'm not quite sure. Yes
this is beta software, I've never seen anything else, so all the
usual care should be taken
Once you get the setup file, about 10Mb, just install as normal.
When you start a new session and select twitter you put in the
twitter username you'd like to use from that session and the qube
goes off to twitter and requests permission to use your account. (At
this point the qube should say something like retrieving token from
twitter). Next, your browser should open to a twitter page where you
must put in your password, I think. This page explains what the qube
is trying to do. If you agree, Twitter gives you a code, called a
token, which you must copy and paste into a box in the Qube and then
press ok. If all goes well the qube will now announce that it is
logging into twitter and begin reporting that it is gathering tweets
and so on, if you already have friends etc. If you've never used
twitter before I'm not sure what the qube will do as that's not my position.
The readme file for the qube, effectively a manual, is very good and
can usually be found under the qube on your start menu.
I hope this is of some help

Can anyone tell me where I can get the Qube; the website doesn't seem
to work. I've tried for the last three months to install it to no
avail. When I install, there's no place for my Twitter
password. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks.

Hi
The only thing that I can say is that the procedure you describe
worked for me. You might want to reinstall the qube making sure you
have the most up-to-date version and try again. After doing what you
described you should get the stuff about retrieving a token from
twitter for the other account.
Stupid question, but the account you want to use with the Qube is
already set up in Twitter, right? I don't think you can actually
create a new twitter account with the qube, just access accounts
which have already been created. Another thing, are you logged into
twitter itself in your browser? If so you might want to log out
and/or close your browser to avoid any confusion.
Hope this helps a bit

Hey guys,
I think I have a huge problem with the qube. I can't create a new account
that I need to administer.
Here's what I did.
Control win shift n, and arrowed down to twitter, then I typed in the nameof
the account, and pressed ok. It then said logged in to twitter as
jedbarton. Now, I already hve my jedbarton account setup. Huh! This makes
no sense, it's slmost like it made a duplicate of my account that was
already setup in the qube. Any ideas?
