I am using a Brailliant Bi32 which exhibits the same behavior with
braille input.
I find it interesting that when WE displays the character with ASCII
code 47 X2F the correct braille dots are displayed. However when I press
the keys for dots 34 dots 1456 are displayed. I'd think this is a WE
issue as the Brailliant keyboard should be generating the ASCII code,
not the dot pattern.
So, it appears WE is using two translation tables, one for input and one
for output. I can't find any doc that addresses the translation of input
from the Brailliant keyboard.
Of course, I could be wrong about all of this.

Greetings,
I’m using WE8 under Win8 with a brailliant bi 40 display.
When I press dot 4 I get the @ sign rather than the ` sign. When I
press dots 3 4 I get a ? rather than a /.
I got the same results using WE7.5 under win7.
I contacted humanware and they pointed their fingers back at GW.
Thanx,
John Carty
Does anyone else have this display and are you getting the same results?
