Hi folks, running the latest version of Window-Eyes with Windows 7 64-bit

I am setting up an open VPN server and would like to set up as a ethernet bridge with DHCP so it looks like I am getting a lease on my LAN. However, it seems that the only way to do it is to select the tap Win32 adapter and then select my ethernet connection. For the life of me I can't seem to do this. I have tried left clicking each with the mouse and also putting the control panel into a list and shift-down arrow but nothing seems to take. I keep getting the message that I need two lan/high-speed Internet connections that are not using Internet connection sharing. Neither of the connections in question are sharing anything so I'm guessing that I'm not selecting them properly. Can anyone give me some advice as to how to do this? It seems like a simple task. Consequently, if slightly off-topic, has anyone managed to set up an open VPN connections such as I described?
Thanks, Dave
