I put up with the same annoying messages until I got tired of them and decided to do a Google search for a solution. I found the following tip:

You can disable this annoying popup message by increasing the performance
threshold and setting it to the maximum limit given.
1. When the popup notification message appears again, click on "Choose
add-ons" button. It'll open a new window.
2. Now look at the bottom of the window. You'll see "Tell me when the delay
caused by add-ons exceeds:" option. It would be set to 0.20 seconds by
default. Click on the drop-down box and set it to 10.00 seconds. Click on
"Done" button and it should disable the popup notification message
permanently.

I followed this tip and haven't heard that notification since.

Subject: Annoying IE Messages

Hi, Folks. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and WE 8.1.0.0. When I'm in IE, I get an annoying message about closing add-ons that slow down IE. Is there a way of closing this error message? thanks in advance.--Matthew Chao If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
