Yes it does happen allot, and I don't know why.
My fix is to select all and paste on to wordpad, and continue from there
to finish what I am doing.
For example, I started writting this email in thunderbird, and when I
mistyped I needed to cut and paste to wordpad to finish, because
WE8.would not read when pressing back space.
I just heard bing sounds with each back space stroke.
