Comments: This month's webinar is part two of GW Micro’s free training series on the new Windows 8 operating system. In this webinar, we will focus on tips for customizing the Windows 8 start screen and desktop so that you can easily access your commonly used programs. In addition, we will also cover how to use the Search Charm to find programs, settings and files on your computer. Time will also be reserved at the end of the webinar for attendee questions on other Windows 8 topics.
For our customers who plan on purchasing a new computer in the near future, you won't want to miss this opportunity to learn more about how to personalize Windows 8. Even if you don't plan on making the switch to Windows 8 soon, this webinar will give you the chance to expand your knowledge so you can help support others who do use Windows 8.
There will be a corresponding worksheet and worksheet answer key made available prior to the webinar that participants can download on demand from GW Micro's webinar archive. These worksheets can be used as study guides for the training and once completed can be referred to after the webinar as a helpful reference.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran, or a beginner to Window-Eyes, our hope is that GW Micro's online training webinar series will enhance your Window-Eyes skill set and provide you with the tools that will allow you better access to your computer.
This month's training webinar will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2 P.M. Eastern Time (19:00 UTC or 18:00 UTC during DST) and will last up to an hour in length.
To access the webinar, go to http://www.gwmicro.com/meeting. Your username will be your first and last name. The password field should be left blank. You do not have to register for the training. Please arrive early as there is a limited amount of participants for each webinar, and access to the meeting room is based on a first-come, first-served basis!
