Did you ever get this issue with Word 2010 cleared up? If not, I have 2 initial guesses: first, is the window maximized? And second, is the document one which is in protected view mode? (if it is, use the file properties to "unblock" it so it won't be in protected view). I get in a document and now the arrow keys don't work. I just hear the same line over and over even though I am truly moving around in the document. The left and right arrows work but, not the up and down arrows. Any ideas how to fix this? I reinstalled the sets and the the apps.
