Hi Rick,
To avoid your present situation, you should get an external hard drive,
then create a disk image of your c drive.
To do this in Windows 8
press window key
type
windows 7
arrow down to settings and enter
arrow down to
windows 7 file recovery group and enter
enter on create system image and follow the prompts
Once that is done, you need to
go back to ws 7 file recovery group and tab to
create recovery disk
and follow the prompts.
You will need the recovery disk if your computer can not boot up.
In windows 7
press window key
type restore
and arrow down to backup and restore and enter
Shift tab to
create image and enter
etc (same as above)
then go back to backup and restore and tab to create recovery disk and
enter
etc (same as above)
Good luck, Manny checkout my stand-up comedy performance

Hello everyone my PC took a dump last week and had to get a boot disk
to get back up and running. Well in the process windows erased all
the programs that I had installed up to that point. I am running
windows 8 and win eyes 8.1. In the past when I would tab to a edit
box we would automatically take me out of brouze mode and allow me to
interact with that control, and when it did it would have some chimes
to let me know it was working. Now I do not get the sounds, but it
does take me out of brouze mode. I went into the verbosity menu and
it had play sounds when toggling in or out of brouze mode checked.
Why am I not hearing the sounds? I like knowing when it is in brouze
mode and not. Is there something I can do to get it back? thanks
much. Rick
