Hi. That's a supurb idea! Now I just gotta find myself an installer
for 3.6 somewhere. If I can do that, and get things back to the way I
want them too it'll be all good.
Thanks.

When I had this problem I rolled back to version 3.6 . The Colum header
hot key worked on that version. I made my changes then upgraded to the
current version.
It's clumsy, but it worked.

Subject: message headers menu in thunderbird doesn't speak, any ideas?
Hi folks
I posted about this a couple days ago, but I had to re-install
Thunderbird so I may have missed any responses, which I apologize for.
Anyways, now that I've got it re-installed, the help for the
TB-enhance app mentions a keystroke you can hit, alt plus control plus
c, which will showa menu with the message headers to display.
Unfortunately, when I hit this keystroke, Window-eyes says, menu opened.
However when I press the up and down arrows to hear the different
message headers, nothing happens. Window-eyes doesn't speak any of these
so it's really hard to know what I'm checking or unchecking.
I'd really like to get this to speak so I can customize TB to get it
back to the way I had it before.
I do realize there's the drag and drop method, but if I can get this
menu to speak and just uncheck them it'd be a lot easier, and I can get
back to doing what I need to do quickly.
Thanks for any ideas!
