To those having trouble accessing chase.com with Window-Eyes, I just received a call from a person with Chase asking for details about the problem we are having. I demonstrated to her the fact that I can log in, but cannot read any information or activate any controls.
I do have a copy of Jaws, so I also demonstrated to her that I can log in with Jaws and read the screen, but that after filling in all fields for making a transfer from one account to another, I cannot activate the next button to complete the transfer either with enter, the spacebar, or by doing a left click with the Jaws cursor. She took notes and said she would call me back on Wednesday to get more information. I suggested that she have the web developers contact GW to shorten the process of figuring out what the problem actually is. She agreed with me that it is not possible to use the mobile chase page with a computer. She also suggested that I use Firefox and I told her that isn't an appropriate solution because I'm use to Internet Explorer and that Firefox is constantly changing and can be unpredictable. As I have said before, I can use the Chase app on my iPhone, or I could use telephone banking, but I should not be forced to use those alternatives when using Window-Eyes and my computer is my preferred method.
