Hi Robert,

copy:
NoScript Firefox extension
provides extra protection for Firefox, Seamonkey and other mozilla-based browsers:
this free, open source add-on allows
JavaScript
,
Java
,
Flash
 and other
plugins
 to be executed only by
trusted web sites of your choice
 (e.g. your online bank).
NoScript also provides
the most powerful
anti-XSS
 and
anti-Clickjacking
 protection
 ever available in a browser.
NoScript's unique
whitelist based pre-emptive script blocking
 approach prevents exploitation of
security vulnerabilities
 (known and
even not known yet
!) with no loss of functionality...
You can enable JavaScript, Java and plugin execution for sites you trust with a simple
left-click on the
NoScript status bar icon
(look at the picture), or using the contextual menu, for easier operation in popup
statusbar-less windows.
Watch the "Block scripts in Firefox" video
 by
cnet
..
Staying safe has never been so easy!
Experts will agree:
Firefox is really safer with NoScript
!
One headsup is that you need to remember when on a new web page that noscript by default blocks that page and you need to permanently allow if that is your choice, and the program will remember for future visits to the website.
Here is the noscript link for more info or to install.

Hi Don,
I am not having that problem.
I do use noscript
and I did the following tweak on firefox, which may or may not have
anything to do with your problem.
:
speed up firefox by
Type "about:config" in to the address bar with out quotes and hit enter..
network.http.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
network.http.proxy.pipelining
Alter the entries as follows:
Set this value
"about:config
to true.
Set t his value "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to true
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
3) Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it
"nglayout.initialpaint.delay"
and set its value to "0?. This value is the amount of time the browser
waits before
it acts on information it receives.

Just installed firefox version 20.0.1 on my Windows 7 64 bit machine
running WE 8.1. To say the least it isn't working very well. Page
keeps reloading and links just don't work. Is there some settings that
need to be changed to make it work better or a better version of
firefox to install?
any pointers would be appreciated.
