There really isn't enough evidence to say what the cause or causes might be.
But Window Eyes not crashing doesn't mean it is any more or less likely to
be involved in causing the crashes. All WE not crashing means is that
whatever the problem is, it is crashing the browser and not other running
applications. I am not saying it is or isn't a Window Eyes specific problem,
there just isn't enough evidence to be found in postings on the list, I am
just saying that a running application not crashing has no bearing on the
likelihood of it being involved or not involved in the problem. Plenty of
interactions between applications can cause one and not the other to freeze
or crash. The bigger question in trying to figure out if the problem is
related to Window Eyes or not is who other than Window Eyes users are
experiencing increased crashes. I don't know the answer to this question or
any other. I just know my own experience and the information related by
other list members, and none of that gives me enough information to lean in
any particular direction as of yet. Which is why I think reporting all
crashes is important and sending feedback also might be helpful.

Chris

You guys aren't blaming window eyes for the crashes are you? The crashes I
get are from just clicking on a link. and window eyes never crashes. Window
eyes walks me through the crash report.

Hi Chris:
I think I will do that. Up until today, I haven't had much problem
with it crashing, but this afternoon when I was trying to create a
Yahoomail account, I just got frustrated with Firefox crashing all the
time and I used Internet Explorer to complete the task.

I also have been experiencing this, despite being a longtime user of No
Script. It doesn't seem to matter what scripts I forbid or which addons I
stop running. I spent a good amount of time this morning writing a
feedback
message to Mozilla and highly recommend others do the same. The menu item
to
do this can be found in the help menu. Provide as much info as possible,
Mozilla is really good about paying attention to such things,
particularly
when a number of users report similar problems. Make sure and mention
that
you are a screen reader user and which version of Window Eyes you use,
they
have folks that work specifically on accessibility issues and problems
with
accessibility software. I don't know whether or not the issues are
related
to Window Eyes, screen readers in general, or are problems affecting all
users regardless of other software used, but any information users can
provide short of personally identifying data cannot help but be useful
even
if it is just something that can eventually be crossed off the list as a
cause.

Hey guys,
I have no idea how to fix this issue, but it's getting annoying. Firefox
is
crashing over 20 times a day and that's no exaduration. I'll be in the
middle of typing, and a dialog comes up, mozilla crash reporter, I'll
restart it, and it'll be fine for who knows how long. Any ideas what
this
could be?
I am using 20.0.1.
This makes no sense, cause it isn't giving me any specific error.
Any thoughts?
