I posted to this list several days ago regarding a problem with FireFox and Shock Wave and the difficulty I was having in connecting to the internet. I received a number of very helpful responses, and I appreciate the feedback. I just thought someone would like to know how I have, at least for now, resolved the problem. My sister-in-law and her husband stayed with us for several days, and during that time, he helped me with a few minor computer issues, including the one I posted about a short time back. His suggestion was to go into the add-ons area within FireFox and to disable both of the Shock Wave add-ons there. Sure enough, the problem has been totally eliminated, and surfing the web has never gone more smoothly for me than it has the past couple of days. As I see it, there is no conflict whatsoever with FireFox 20 and Window Eyes. Rather, the problem appears to be with the ShockWave add-on and the FireFox software. If I continue to encounter problems, I will downgrade my FireFox to version 19.2 as several people suggested, but for now, there is no need for that. I am having some problems with watching videos on YouTube, but that can be handled later and is less important to me than being able to browse other websites freely and easily. FWIW Jon
