Max,
Try pressing Alt-Numpad-5 until Window-Eyes says "line," and let us know
if the mouse works normally again.

Hi,
Yep, They decided that we didn't need mouse keys any more. Which made
the site builder I used to use un-useable. That was one of the reasons
that I went from JFW to Win eyes back in 2003 because, you could use
the mouse keys to work around a lot of things that JFW couldn't
access. Go Figure!! Maybe if enough people ask we can get the mouse
key function back.

Subject: Constantly Dinging Mouse Keys
When I say "mouse keys", of course I refer to the numPad; and that numPad
dings with every character explored. A 4 or 6 usually reads the char.
desired, but the typewriter bell sound in Win7 accompanies it every time.
This started happening at about Win-Eyes 7.5. My XP machine doesn't do
this. The caps lock is off, and the focus field for the mouse doesn't
affect this.
It's not provable, but my range even on full-screen for the mouse seems
more limited than in the past. Does anyone out there have any
suggestions? That would make my day!
