Hi, I know, there are rumours that the startmenu will be back in a servicepack for win8.
But until then and if that is true: I have found a problem in win8 that will replace the start screen and will bring back the startmenu of windows 7. When I press the start button and when typing something, Window-Eyes will indead read the suggestions as it did in win7. When starting win8, I now get a desktop. The only thing I don't get, is a startbutton when going from taskbar to desktop with the tabkey, but if that is the only thing... you can press the startkey on the keyboard. The program I am talking about is called: Startisback You can try it and after a period of time you have to buy. It cost 3 dollars, so not a big problem. It says that it can bring that much of the old startmenu back, because Microsoft has still left some components of it in windows that can be used by this program. You can download it from: www.startisback.com Regards, marten If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
